Trade Show at the Beau!

ElderScript set up at the Beau Rivage for the MHCA trade show this week, so LoLo, the girls, and I loaded up and made a mini-vacation out of it! It was forcasting terrible weather the entire time we were going to be there, but luckily it was pretty skies and we got a LOT of pool time!
Tracy and Jimmy at our booth!

Sweet Madi catching some rays!

We walked to the Hard Rock Cafe for supper!

Emma wanted to take a picture of me and LoLo!  I thought she did a pretty good job!

Emma and Madi in front of the water fountain at the Beau Rivage!

I wanted to get some cute pictures of the girls on the beach, and since Biloxi isn't really known for its beaches, we only walked down beside the hotel for some quick shots.  We spent most of our time at the pool!

Hooray for sunshine!!

On the way home, Emma FINALLY got her a new pet..."Hermie" the Hermit Crab!!
(Hopefully he will do better in the tank than the fish...)

Race with the King!~5k

Mom and I ran the 5k for the Elvis festival on June 2!  We did a great job and even shaved a little off of our time!  I wanted to finish in less than 30 minutes and my time was 29 min 14 sec so I was very pleased!!  But...that's probably it until fall...it's too hot!!

Madi is on the Move!!

Yep...My baby is now WALKING!!  She took her first steps on May 25th! (1 day after her 10 month bday!)  Now she is taking lots of steps in a row!  I counted 11 steps without falling on Sunday!!  Yay Madi!!

"Just because I can, doesn't mean I always want to!!"

Madi's new favorite place to sit...and it's a No-No!!

"Still a little wobbly, but I got it!!"

YAY Madi!   We are so proud of you for being such a big girl!!

Just A-Swingin'

Madi LOVES to swing!!  (And Emma LOVES to push her!)

Emma Swimming Lessons

Emma took another week of swimming lessons this year with Mrs. Mimi Pettit (and Maggie)!  She took two weeks at the beginning of last summer and had gotten to where she could swim under water the length of the shallow end.  This summer we wanted to work on coming up and taking a breath and jumping off the diving board...which she accomplished beautifully!!

Mrs. Mimi giving Emma a high-five for taking a breath!!

Jumping off the diving board!!  YAY EMMA!!

Ms. Maggie thought she'd start teaching Emma how to dive!

I'm so proud of our big girl!!
