Y-E-S to V-B-S!

Emmad attended Vacation Bible School at FBC Tupelo again this year!  She had so much fun each day learning about Paul and overcoming fears!  I didn't get too many good pics from the Sunday night program, but here is one!

After the program, they had a little carnival set up in the gym, so the kids had a BLAST!
Emma and Mary Evelyn on the "roller coaster!"

Katie's Luau!

We hosted Katie a luau for a senior party! (YES, Katie graduated this year!  Boy that makes me feel OLD!!)  She has turned into such a sweet, kind young lady and we wish her the best of luck in college!!

Emma's Kindergarten Registration!

I can NOT believe Emma is starting "Big School" this year!!!!! :(  I had to go and register her for Kindergarten the end of the school year in May.  They gave the parents the "ABC's" of Kindergarten, while the kids got to visit a classroom and do a couple of activities!  When I went to pick Emma up she said (in front of everybody!) "I already know all this stuff...it's just like letters and numbers!"  Ha!  She has already had all her shots, so she is ready to go!  (Actually, the very first week of summer vacation, she was already saying she wanted to go back to school!)  I pray she gets an awesome teacher this year!!

Happy Birthday LoLo!!

The girls loved celebrating LoLo's birthday!!  Emma made her a special poster and the whole crew took her out to eat at Mt. Fugi!  WE LOVE YOU LOLO!!  I really don't know what I would do without her!!

Mother's Day!

I am WAY behind of blogging, but I guess better late than never!  Mother's Day was very special, mainly because of my two beautiful wonderful girls that God blessed me beyond my wildest dreams to be called "Momma" by!!!!  I love them both so very much and do not take one second for granted!  They are growing up so fast and I really wish I could just pause time right now!!

Emma's class hosted a Mother's Tea for us on the Thursday before Mother's Day.  It was so sweet!!  And even though I wasn't surprised at all, because Emma can NOT keep anything a secret (not even the crafts they had prepared!), it was absolutely priceless!!

Emma made my coursage!

LOVE the crafts Ms. Mona helped the kids with!

All of the kids did portraits of their mom!  I immediately knew exactly which one was me!  I was the ONLY mom who had highlights!!  Emma has been obsessed with highlights lately, so I knew me when I saw me!  (I was very impressed with her detail, considering every other mom had either brown, yellow, or red hair!)

Emma's sweet class!
Emma C., Emma P., Addison, Gracie, Thomas, Addie Moss, Mason, and Gavin

The girls!

Emma wanted to prepare my breakfast on Mother's Day all by herself!  Sweet girl couldn't reach the bowls, so she used coffee filters as our bowls!  She got out two kinds of fruit and water for our "healthy breakfast"!  Love her!

Mother's Day Morning!
We went to FBC Pontotoc to see Mary Collins's baby dedication!  Then we ate lunch with LoLo and PaPa, visited Mammaw Carroll (and Cee Cee at Mammaw's), then went to see Mammaw Nancy!

Mammaw Carroll loves these girls!

Disney World 2013!

Third time's a charm!  I can not believe this is our THIRD year in a row to get to go to Disney World!!!  But, the ASCP (American Society of Consultant Pharmacists) had their annual meeting at the Swan/Dolphin Resort at Disney World in May, so we loaded up!  I actually got a ton of CE this trip and even completed the special class that allowed me to get my consultant pharmacist license!  I may never use it, but I have other consultant pharmacists that work for me and I really wanted to understand more of what they do (or are supposed to be doing! ;).  It was a very informative seminar and I really got a lot out of it!  Plus, I got to take the girls back to Disney and we had a BLAST!!  Emma, who is only 5 and been to Disney 3 times, thinks this is our anual vacation!  I may be in trouble! (But I have to admit, I love it just as much as them!  And if you need a Disney tour guide, I'm your woman!)  We drove this time, which was not the most fun part of our trip, but thanks to LoLo and PaPa, we made it in pretty good time!

Day 1:  Magic Kingdom (and we basically spent all day in the newly opened Fantasyland!!)

We were not on the monorail this time, but it was not bad at all catching the bus to the parks! (But for those of you with strollers, I highly suggest somewhere on the monorail!!)

Madi was EXSTATIC to meet Minnie!!  She LOVES Minnie!  She kept calling her and waving and blowing kisses around the other kids in line!  Priceless!

Both girls loved meeting the characters this year!  I was so happy to FINALLY get some cute pictures of them with the characters!

PaPa liked Daisy too!

Minnie Mouse!!!  (I also had a hidden agenda...Madi is having a Minnie Mouse birthday party in July, and I wanted a cute picture of her and Minnie for the invitations!)

Time to ride Dumbo!

The Goofy roller coaster!  Emma loved this one last year (and this year too!)!

Madi even got to ride (mainly because her bow on top of her head let her squeeze by the height requirement!)  She LOVED it!  She's definitely going to be my little dare-devil!

Emma and Madi always love the carousel!

Cooling off with some ice cream!

Madi HAD to get this little Pooh bear!  She was NOT going to leave the store without him!

Part of the new Fantasyland includes a new "Under the Sea" ride and "Ariel's Grotto" where you get to meet Ariel!  It was fantastic and Emma LOVED it!

Madi watching the parade!

Emma and PaPa love the race cars!

Buzz Lightyear ride!

Astro Orbiter!

You can't really tell, but Madi got to ride this again this year too! (Even though it goes way to high and way too fast!)

PaPa and I got to ride Space Mountain!  I had not ridden it since I was a senior in highschool and it was even better than I remembered!

We tried to watch the fireworks, but Madi HATED them!  Needless to say, we left early with her screaming!

Day 2: Magic Kingdom (Again!)

Emma loved meeting Ariel so much, that she decided to dress up as the Little Mermaid and see her again! (She had saved enough money since last year to buy her anything she wanted...and that was the mermaid costume!)

My Little Mermaid!

Madi's favorite this year was "It's a Small World"...which was also her favorite last year! ;)  I love these two pictures of her!  It shows her excitement and fascination with everything she saw!  I was so happy she enjoyed Disney World so much this year!!

Both girls also like watching the shows and parades!  I recorded the "Dreams Come True" show on my phone and Madi still watches it just about everyday!

Backstage with Mickey Mouse!

Riding Aladin's Magic Carpert!

I talked Emma into riding Thunder Mountain!!  I was kind of nervous that if she didn't like it, it would make her not want to ride any roller coasters in the future, but to my surprise and excitement, she LOVED it!  She held her hands up and laughed and screamed the entire ride!

Day 3: Chillin' at the resort!
I had to go to class later this afternoon, so we hung out at the pool (I had about 1 hour) and then the girls and LoLo and PaPa went to the room to nap!  The Dolphin Resort had 6 awesome pools, complete with a kiddie pool and water slides!

Madi really liked the kiddie pool!

And so did Emma!

Day 4: Epcot (PaPa's favorite!)

We had our first ever character dinner at Chip and Dale's Harvest Restaurant at Epcot!  It was Fabulous!  You sat in booths that actually rotated (very slowly) around.  The waiter brought an entire buffet to our table and we could have as much as we wanted!  And, the characters took turns coming to us!  Definitely suggest it to anyone going to Epcot!
Chip and Dale!

Madi kept calling them "rabbits!"

Mickey was there too!

Pluto!

Madi had actually gotten sick by this time (terrible cough, fever, sneezing).  I had it earlier in the week too.  So, even though she kept calling "dog" she was not very excited when Pluto made his way to our table!

Day 5:  We went back to Epcot for a couple of hours on Saturday after my conference ended at noon.  It was HOT!!!

Emma and Madi played on the playground while I ran around trying to get fast passes!

Since the fast passes didn't work out this time, PaPa went to stand in line to ride that super fast car ride while LoLo, me and the girls waited in line (for like an hour) to meet Mickey, Pluto, and Minnie.  It wasn't too bad, because it was inside and like I said earlier...it was HOT outside!

Don't you just love her face?  Can you tell how much she loved meeting Minnie?!

We also got to meet Goofy!

And Daisy!

And Chip and Dale!

And Donald!
We got signatures from all 5 of the main characters!  Emma was very excited to get all of them to sign her book!  Madi kept pointing to where they were supposed to sign!  Too Cute!

This was our last photo of the trip!  This was a fountain outside of our hotel!  We had such a GREAT trip!  Who knows??  Maybe we can go back next year too! ;)
