Madi's Thanksgiving Feast!

Madi's class sang a few songs at their Thanksgiving Feast! All the parents were sitting on the wall (with cameras rolling, of course!) and Madi's class walked in. She walked in with her eyes closed and her lips puckered up like "if I do t see them, they can't see me!!" It was absolutely hilarious! I tried to get a picture, but not sure if you can tell!
After the first two songs, she got into it and started singing and doing the motions! Sweetness!!

She was really excited about the food! Especially the cupcake!

"Give Thanks!!"

She wanted her cupcake back!

Now she's happy! ;)

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

...and that's my absolute most favorite time of the year!! I have a tendency to put my tree up very early (or at least some people think it's too early) and this year was no exception (November 8th)!
I love love love Christmas trees!!

And of course we had to try to get those perfect Christmas card pictures! I can't wait for Christmas morning with these two cuties!!

Emma's Cheer Competition- Nov 2 in Southaven!

Emma was pumped about their first "real" cheer competition with Extreme!! She did such a great job! And, the whole team did so much better than the week before! We got 2nd place out of 4 and gained a bid to nationals!!! Yay Tinys!!
Love this girlie girl!!
Bigger the bow... Better the mom! (Did I really just quote that??! Ha! Things sure gave changed!!)
I swear I get more nervous than Emma!!

Ok, these pictures are not the best at all, but it was as good as I could get with my phone (from forever away since they would not let us go down front:( ) while trying to video as well!
So thankful for LoLo and PaPa!!
Sportin my new "Extreme Mom" shirt! ;)

Pepper's Dinner Date!

We were so happy we got to visit with Mrs. Chick and Bailey last Friday night while they were in town!! We were way overdue a play date!! I'm not sure The Pepper's staff were as excited we were there as much as we were...

Emma's Kindergarten Picture

How grown does my baby look in her Kindergarten pics???!! Really makes me want to cry! We are so proud of our sweet sassy big girl!! As several people have said..."She's always camera ready!!" (And I'm sure that's not my fault at all...since we barely have ANY pics of her! ;)

Trick or Treat?!

Halloween was not quite what I had planned this year! Since Jessica and I had to "close" for the month on the 31st and Vanguard decided to completely redo our billing infrastructure (don't ask...just means we had a LOT of work to do in a SHORT amount of time!!!), I knew we wouldn't be done until around midnight ...which I was correct. So, being the over-achieving, try-to-do-everything mom I aspire to be, I searched everywhere to find something for the girls to do in their cute costumes Wednesday night and had made plans for them to spend the night with LoLo to go to Pontotoc church to trunk-or-treat with Thomas and Mary Collins on Thursday night! I (last minute) heard that one of the neighborhoods in Tupelo had decided to TOT on Wednesday night since the weather was supposed to be bad on Thursday night! So that's what we did!!
My two tu-tu cute giraffes!! ;)

Madi was a little hesitant at first, so Emma handled the first couple of houses by herself!

The neighborhood was actually having a block party at a vacant lot, so lots of houses just left candy outside for the kids. (Which Madi actually preferred, but Emma said "well that's no fun...we don't even get to say trick-or-treat!")

All Madi picked out was suckers, and all Emma got was chocolate!

So much fun!!

So then Thursday, LoLo went to Emma's Halloween party at school while I picked up Madi. We had planned to meet at the mall so I could see the girls for a little bit before going back to work and them going to cheer then Pontotoc, but LoLo actually got sick (some sort of stomach virus), so I dropped Emma off at cheer and met Nick with Madi. And it was pouring rain and we didn't have power at our house for a while... Yuck!! So I worked till midnight and the girls didn't go to Pontotoc. Bummer! I did do cute little Halloween cards! (That didn't come in until after Halloween and that I still haven't mailed out...oh well! Better late than never this year!!)
