We were so thankful that Madi was able to go to Birmingham for Emma's cheer competition the Saturday after Valentine's Day because it was also Emma's first time to compete in the individual routine category!!! She did absolutely fantastic and we were so proud of her! Coach Ally called us after our Tupelo competition on Sunday night and asked if Emma would be interested in doing an individual routine. Of course she was ecstatic! She met Ally and Cameron at the gym on Monday and had the routine learned by Tuesday to be ready to compete by Saturday!! It amazes me that she is capable of learning an entire routine in 2 days and then confident enough to do it on stage by herself in front of 300+ people!!!!! There wasn't any other tinys competing in individual, so Emma won a first place medal but she did a fantastic job and I think she would have gotten first even if there had been 100 girls competing! ;)
Words can not describe how proud I am of this sweet girl!!!!!
Our team placed 2nd to the Mags in Birmingham but they did an excellent job during their routine!!!
After the competition we took the girls to set at the Macaroni Grill and had a great time with fun friends!!
