Spring Break Fun in the Sun!

We were SO HAPPY that the sun showed up for spring break!  (And it could not have come at a better time...EVERYBODY has been sick...flu, strep, stomach virus...luckily, we dodged all the really bad stuff, but all the schools have had terrible outbreaks.)  We are so ready for some warm weather!!
Playing on the swing set at LoLo's!

Madi thinks she's as big as Big Sis!

The girls love riding the four wheeler with Daddy!!

I decided to take off on Friday so we could meet Mrs. Chick and Bailey at the Memphis Zoo!!  We had such a GREAT time!!  Of course, it was really crowded, and it took over an hour just to park (down the street and then we forgot where we parked when we were trying to leave!), but the girls had a blast and the weather was PERFECT!

Posing with the monkey!

Emma loves the flamingos!

Madi's favorite was the giraffes and the sea lions!

We had a picnic lunch!

These bears were so funny!  They were fighting in the water (hopefully just play fighting, but we really couldn't tell).

The sea lion show is always a must!!

Sweet girls!! "CHEESEEE!"

Bailey and Emma got their faces painted!

It wouldn't be a zoo trip if we didn't ride the carousel!

We thought this was hillarious!  Madi was very tired and just started screaming while we were waiting to ride the farm train! (which ended up being our last stop!)

We had so much fun!!

Saturday, we met Chase's gang at the BBQ fest at Fairpark!

It was another fun day in the sunshine!

Emma got a big bike for Christmas, and it is still a little too big for her, but we got it out this weekend to let her try it out!  She can ride it very well!  She just can't really stop!

Madi is starting to learn how to pedal!

The girls ready for church this morning!  Emma was so excited to not have to wear tights!!

And I decided to end our little spring break with a movie date for me and Emma!  We saw the new "Oz" movie and it was GREAT!!!  Emma said it was a little scary, but she loved it too!

Happy Birthday PaPa!

PaPa turned 57 on March 7th!  Happy Birthday PaPa!  We love you!!
PaPa with all the Grands!

The big kiddos thought he needed help blowing out ALL those candles!

Dr. Seuss Day!

Emma's class had Dr. Seuss day at school!  Cutie Pies!! (Big thanks to her sweet teacher Ms Mona for sending me these pics!)

Emma- Cheer Competition March 3

Sunday, March 3rd, Emma had a cheer competition in Nashville, TN!  We were on our way back from Boca, so PaPa picked us up at the airport on Saturday and we spent the night in Nashville.  Saturday night we ate at the Aquarium Restaurant and went to the Opry Mills mall .(LOVE btw!!!)  The girls LOVED the Aquarium Restaurant and Emma took a bazillion picures and videos of all the fish!  I highly recommend it!

This was our favorite!  We named him "Smiley!"

Dressed and ready for Cheer!

Aren't they just adorable!?

We placed 2nd this time!  Yay girls!

Practicing her "faces" that she says they HAVE to do!

Madi is just one of the big girls! (Or so she thinks anyways!)

Boca Beach!

ElderScript brought on a new facility in Boca Raton, FL, and I had to be there for the "Go Live" week, so LoLo and the girls came with me!  It was 85 degrees and sunny for the first part of the week!  Emma and Madi LOVED hanging out at the pool (while Mommy spent 13 hours a day at the facility :(  ).  We did manage to sneek away for about 2 hours to go to the beach before work got too crazy!  It was very relaxing and Emma enjoyed finding a ton of sea shells!  Madi was not crazy about the beach...she didn't like the sand or the waves!
Emma is definitely our "Beach Babe!"

Madi finally warmed up to the sand a little!

I was very happy that at least I got to see these sweet faces at bedtime!

The girls have now flown on 2 round trips, and they are GREAT!

Madi was trying to put her seatbelt on herself!

Miss Priss loves to fly!

When we landed in Nashville (we had another cheer competition), it was snowing!  (Talk about swings in he weather!!)  Emma was very sweet letting Madi look out the window.  Madi kept saying "No" (for Snow, of course!)

They really do love each other very much!!
