Easter Parties at School!

Emma and Madi both had their Easter Parties at school on "Good Thursday."  It turned out to be a beautiful day and they actually got to hunt eggs outside this year!! (Of course, the rest of the weekend was pretty nasty, so this was the ONLY hunt outside this year!)

Madi was more interested in hunting rocks instead of eggs by the time I got there!  LoLo said she did hunt a few eggs first, though!

(And just FYI...the little boy in the camo shirt is Mason and Mason "is in love with" Emma...according to her!  She acts like she is not interested in him at all, but she talks about him ALL the time!!)

Such a SWEET group!!  We've loved her having such a small class this year!  They are all really good friends!

Easter Bunny Pictures!

Emma and Fayth wanted to see the Easter Bunny on Sunday afternoon after Fayth spent the night with us!  Madi wasn't too sure at first!

Emma- Cheer Competition- March 23rd!

Emma's cheer competition on March 23rd was in Tupelo at the BancorpSouth Center!  They decided to change the routine a little after the Nashville competition, so now Emma is a flyer!  She is one of the 4 girls that the others hold completely up in the air!!  Mom was a little nervous about this competition, because they had only practiced twice since the change was made, but Emma was ready!  She was sooooo excited to be back on top of the stunts!  During the competition, the girls nailed it!!  They all did GREAT!  We were so very disappointed when the awards ceremony came around...they said that we got 5th out of 5!? LAST??!!  Well, it ended up being a big mix up!  One of the judges skipped over 2 categories on the score card and so after re-scoring by the video, we actually came in FIRST place!!  They are ordering our new banner for the gym, and also sending all our girls a 1st place medal!

Fayth came home to spend the night with us after the competition, and Emma is doing her best to talk Fayth into being on her squad next year!

They even made up a routine that included Madi!

Spring Soccer

We were supposed to have 6 soccer games this Spring to complete the Fall/Spring season, but it has been SO wet and cold that we actually only got to play 2 games! :( So, here are some snapshots of both games!

The first game, we played Bella's team!  Emma scored 4 goals!  Go Emma!  She was really into it!

 

 

The second game was EXTREMELY cold!  Emma was not as into the game, so she didn't score any goals, but they all got trophies!!

Yay Emma!  She has had such a great time playing soccer this year!
