Memorial Day Weekend at the beach!

Emma and I joined my mom and dad in Biloxi, MS this weekend for a quick trip to the beach!  My parents were staying at their long time friends' (Bob and Pat Miller) time-share condo for the whole week.  But, since I had to work, Emma and I rode down with Chase, Anna Claire, and Thomas on Thursday night.  We had 2 beautiful days on  the beach before coming home Sunday...b/c again I had to work Monday (Memorial Day).  It turned out to be a much-needed relaxing weekend just laying on the beach and by the pool.  The water at Biloxi (as always) was definitely not the prettiest and it had a dead fishy smell, but it worked!  We ended up going to Ship Island on Saturday b/c the locals said that the water and beaches were better there... they were right!!  We enjoyed getting to catch up with the Millers and working on our tan!!

P says "PUH"

Emma's "school" (really it is Mother's Day Out, but she learns so much that we refer to it as school) class was studying the letter "P" last Thursday, so her teachers let them have a Pajama Party!!  They also got to eat PoPcorn and PoPsicles!!  Emma was so excited...and so was I!  Of course, we had to wear Pigtails too!!  I didn't get a Picture of all the cutie Pies, because Emma wouldn't let me take any before class, but this is who was left after class when I Picked her up.

Sweet Little Madi!

Thursday we got to see our little Madi in 3D (or maybe it was 4D...I'm not sure)!  I am at 28 weeks, and she did such a great job!  At Emma's 28 weeks 3D sono, we didn't get hardly ANY good pics, but Madi was camera ready!  She opened her mouth, opened her eyes, and even smiled at us!  She looks a LOT like Emma, which I kind of figure we won't be able to tell their baby pics apart... but Madi may actually have more of my facial features than Nick's.  (Emma looks like me until you see her Daddy...she's actually his pretty clone!)  I can't wait to get to hold her and see her in person!

Too sweet!!

Yawning...or eating...or something!

Sweet baby smiling!

Drama Queen!
"I've had enough! You're interrupting my nap!"

sucking on her thumb

Other good news... I passed my glucose test!!! YAY!!!  And Dr. Turner said she'd probably put me in a week before my due date (as long as I am progressing at all)!!!  I can not tell you how excited I was to hear that!  She says I am measuring about a week early, but I think it's more about Madi's size... Emma weighed 8lb 9oz and I had a very hard 3 hours of pushing with her.  She and I both think Madi is going to be just as big or maybe a little bigger.   So now I have 10 weeks and 3 days instead of 11 weeks and 3 days!!!!!!!

Emma had her 2nd-part gymnastics recital last Thursday! She did such a great job and LOVES her "new gold medal!"  Thanks to LoLo, PaPa, CeeCee, Mammaw Nancy, and Daddy for making the 3:00 showing!  Emma was so proud to have everyone there to cheer her on!

My Little Gymnast!

Emma had her first gymnastics "recital" yesterday!  It is actually a 2-part class that the parents/ grandparents get to come watch to see what they've learned, so she actually have another one next week too.  She will get her medal next week, which Emma is VERY excited about!  She loves gymnastics and has really learned a lot this year!  She does really well on the balance beam and the bars!  I'm so proud of her!

Stretch!!!!

Emma's "backbend"

learning to do a cartwheel!

The beam is definitely her best!
(Even though she fell off of it last fall and broke her wrist...didn't stop her!)

She can now do a flip all by herself!

Happy Easter! (a little late!)

I am pretty new at blogging, so even though it's a little late... HAPPY EASTER!!!  We had a great family day celebrating our Savior's Resurrection!  Even though she wasn't too thrilled about it... Emma did get visited from the Easter Bunny.  She got a Tangled barbie, real soccer ball, candy (of course), a bubble gun, and some Disney Princess dive sticks for the bathtub! We hunted eggs at LoLo and Papa's, Mammaw Nancy's and Mammaw Carroll's!
