Baby Girl Gets Tubes!

Madi has had an ear infection (well really fluid on her ears) every month since September!  I took her back to Dr. McAuley (at Ear, Nose, and Throat) and he said it was probably more like she's had the same ear infection since September :(  Bless her heart, she had actually gotten to where she was banging both hands on the side of her head over her ears a lot.  He said that's a tell-tell sign it's time for tubes!  So, last Thursday (Nov 29), we took Madi in early and she got tubes!  She did GREAT!  I remeber Emma screamed histerically and uncontrollably for like 2 hours after coming out of the anesthesia, but Madi only whined "Momma momma momma momma momma..." for like 20 minutes!  She even went straight to playing after we got home!  So, except for a little more fussiness than usual on Friday, you'd never known she had anything done!  Hopefully, this will make her feel MUCH better and we can go back to sleeping all night...instead of waking up crying with our ears!
