Happy 9 Months Madi!

DId I really just say 9 MONTHS??!!  How in the world is my baby already 9 months?  Madi has been extremely busy this month!  She is pulling up everywhere she can find!  She is even starting to walk behind her little walkers or if you hold her hands!  I'm figuring she'll get it down pat and be going everywhere by 10 months!  Madi has also decided that she is too grown for baby food and eats exclusively off our plates!  She is still having to use the special NeoCate formula... I tried her on the Alimentum formula for about 2 weeks (as suggested by Dr. Corkins), but she immediately started spitting up again and not pooping.  So we are going to stick with the NeoCate until she's a year old, and then probably try the Silk (soy milk).  Fingers crossed that she will not react to the soy anymore!  Madi's talents include saying "Momma", "Dada", and "Enna", patting and loving on her babies, waving and saying "bye-bye", and blowing bubbles with her spit!  She weighed 21 lbs 2 oz and was 30 inches long at her 9 month appointment, which is still in the 90-95 percentile range!
Big Girl is 9 Months!

Did I mentioned Madi was pulling up?
Our fireplace is her absolute favorite place to stand...and she's got the bruised cheek to prove it!  So, this was our attempt at "Redneck Baby Proofing!"

I can push my walker!

Emma is such a great Big Sis!  She loves to help Madi walk and is really liking being able to "carry" her a little bit.

Madi loves some babies!

Giving big sis some love!

Happy 9 Months Sweet Girl!!!

T-Ball~Week 1

The moment I've been waiting for...EMMA IS OLD ENOUGH TO PLAY T-BALL!!!!  Can you tell how excited I am?!  Actually when I told Emma that I was going to sign her up for T-ball this year, her response was "Naww...I don't want to play this year."  Of course I explained that she didn't have a choice, and that she could be on Fayth's team...which of course made her VERY excited to play!  So Terri and I signed up to coach so that we could ensure they were on the same team.  I was VERY nervous at first...nervous that Emma wouldn't excell at T-ball like I really hoped she would!  I know that sounds bad, but I can't even count how many hours I have spent on the softball field, and I just really wanted Emma to like it...and not suck!  Well, we have now had several practices and our first 2 games...and Emma is really good!!!!! (Whew!;)  And, she's having a blast!  She really does LOOK like a ball player and I can tell she has some natural talent, so IF she enjoys it, we may be headed back to the softball fields for COUNTLESS hours!!  YAY!!!

Tickled PINK for Chase's 30th!

My little brother turned 30 on April 24! HA! (Of course, that means that I am older than that, so really it's not very funny...)  Anyways, Anna Claire planned Bub a surprise 30th birthday party, and it just so happened that the biggest surprise was we all got to find out what their new baby was!!!

Chase's awesome birthday cake!  He just got a new job with FedEx, so his cake had a FedEx plane on it!  (The cake also held the secret of whether the baby was a boy or girl!)

Emma made a sign that said "Happy B-day Favorite," since that is what Chase is brainwashing my kids to call him! ;)

All of us waiting to greet Chase with a big surprise!!

The kids wanted to hide and jump out at him when he pulled in the driveway!

What will it be??  The suspense was KILLING me, Mom, and Anna Claire's mom!

Thomas got to cut the cake!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thomas checking out the pink icing!

Emma's response: "I knew it was a girl...I was right AGAIN!"  She really has said a girl the whole time!

Welcome Mary Collins!!
We can't wait to meet you October 1st!!! (Or maybe a little before!)
